~ my own Siomai/Shumai

The moment I’ve been waiting for… yay!!!
Finally, I made my own siomai! I was sooo amazed. 😀
I shared it and they said it’s good! Wow, so nice the feeling. 🙂
Well, I just want to share it, I mean the ingredients and the procedure. [I just copied this in the internet too. Hehehe]beef_siomai

INGREDIENTS:
•1 1/2 lbs ground beef
•3/4 cup onion (minced)
•3/4 cup carrots (minced)
•1 egg
•1 tsp salt
•1/2 tsp pepper
•siomai wrapper

PROCEDURE:
•Combine all the ingredients together except the wrapper.
•Wrap the meat in the siomai wrapper by placing about 1 tbsp of meat in the center of the wrapper then press all the sides to the middle leaving an open space on top.
•Prepare the steamer. Put oil around the steamer before placing all the wrapped siomai. (To avoid wrapped siomai to stick into the steamer)
•Steam the wrapped siomai for 10-15 minutes.
•Serve with soy sauce & calamansi or lemon. [better if it’s with Mandarin sauce]
