It was an ordinary day for me. In the 19th day of February 2014, the first day of being engaged with a wonderful man. 🙂
He decided to attend our Wednesday Night Bible Study, he travelled night earlier just to be in that day, I didn’t know about his plans. I wonder why every time I asked him about his whereabouts, he will change the topic and worst, he didn’t answer…
He told me earlier, he will be in the office two hours before BS starts. Then, after an hour, he called me, telling me that he will probably be late, I asked him “why?” he just answered “I still have something to do”. Okay fine, I had no choice… was in a good mood, so I didn’t have valid reason to be cranky. Feeling happy, he came and as usual, smiling and relaxed. I just noticed everybody looking at me, I don’t know why; maybe I have something in my face? LOL. Yes, I doubted and assumed (it’s not wrong naman).
BS started and I like the topic, “Dating True Love” by Mr. Randy Stiver. We learned a lot, I guess.;) Then, my girl buddy asked me to accompany her to the rest room, though I don’t like to but he – Joshua – insisted me to accompany her. Little did I know, they had something to do for the event…
After a minute, we came back to the BS room and sat down, ate siopao and chitchat with the girls in the room. Suddenly, the music played with slideshow… oh no! I was kind of melting, slideshow of our pictures together… and slowly registering to my mind that it’s gonna be a “kulba” thing. Yes, I did not know what to do but to blush and “kulba-kulba my ♥” … after the music, he’s approaching and kneels down and said those lovely words, “Victoria Elizabeth Gervise, will you marry me?” with all the props. The first time in my entire life! Oh! Suddenly tears of joy rolled over my cheeks and said, “YES, yes!” he put on a ring in my finger and found myself so happy, I’m so happy! So much happy! I am finally engaged!!! 🙂 isn’t it surprising???
